Real name is Jose Sixto Raphael Gonzalez Dantes an actor, director, print ads, commercial model and movie producer. He is currently with GMA Network Artist Center. He began his career as child model and part of the dance group called Abztract Dancers. Dingdong Dantes first movie appearance was Shake Rattle and Roll and Youth oriented show T.G.I.S.
Career
It’s 2000–2001 when Dantes appeared on a sitcom Super Klenk with Ara Mina and starred on the role “Sana Ay Ikaw Na Nga.” In 2007, Dantes portrayed the lead role Sergio to Marian Rivera's character, Marimar. He won various awards like USTV Students’ Choice Award for "Most Popular Actor, 25 Sexiest Men of the World", 44th Box-Office Entertainment Awards, 4th USTV Students' Choice Awards
