Regine Velasquez Career
She started singing young joining towns and school competition, at 14 she entered "Ang Bagong Kampeon" were she won 8 straight weeks then winning the Grand Champion. She then signed a singing contract to OctoArts recording and appeared in GMA 7 Variety TV show, Penthouse Live. She was so successful locally but it was her Asian music success that set Regine to performed live in Singapore.
