Born on April 23, 1985 her real name is Angelica Colmenares also known as Angel Locsin an actress, commercial model, producer, endorser, host and fashion designer. She is currently with ABS CBN and won some various awards and recognition. She is also active in supporting GABRIELA foundation a NGO that support children and women it’s her advocacy to fight abuse against women and children.
Career
2001 when Angel Locsin was discovered at a shopping center and auditioned for several commercial, 2002 when she got her fist commercial in CocaCola. and was supposed to have a deal with ABS CBN but she sign a contract to the network rival GMA "Kapuso" The primetime series on GMA give her a break playing the role of "Alwina:" in Mulawin and since the then the birth of pantaserye in the Philippines primetime. She also play the role of Darna a pinoy super hero in 2005. Various role in television like Majika and Asian Treasure link her to be versatile actress. After a successful career being a "kapuso" GMA7 she decided to moved to the network rival ABS CBN 'kapamilya" and continuing the pantaserye she star in the serye Lobo with Piolo Pascual. 2010 when she was paired with John Lloyd Cruz on a series name Immortal a sequel of the her first series with ABS CBN. Locsin won award like FAMAS for best actress and Film Academy of the Philippines.
